Hi atty. Im grace. Atty. Nagwork po asawa ko sa isa sa pinakamalaking trucking company sa parañaque. Ang problema po wla po clang 13th month pay at hindi abot sa minimum wage ung sahud ng asawa ko, hindi rin double pay ung legal holidays nila, wla din clang night differential pay, wlang bayad ung leave nila. Ask ko lng po if pwede kming magreklamo,? By the way sabi pla ng asawa ko hawak nila ang DOLE sa parañaque.
I hope you could help or give light at least to my problem. I’m currently working in a bpo company for more than a year now. After my application, i was profiled for non-voice then i recieved my job offer. During my first week of training, we (my teammates and i) were informed that we will be transferred to voice. We were all devastated because we were bpo newbies and freshgrads who doesn’t have any experience taking in calls at all. We were eventually persuaded then got endorsed to voice operations. We hadn’t noticed that we were actually being undercompensated since we are technically voice agents instead of non-voice agents in which what we were initially profiled for. Being an agent who takes in call, especially for first-timers is no joke. We were under alot of stress because its not our forte and we all specifically chose non- voice during our application and got profiled for it. We’ve been working more than half a year already when one of us noticed during our payouts, we were still under non-voice (e-mail to be specific). We decided to make a dispute and was later explained on that it depends upon the CONTRACT WE SIGNED UP FOR. And here’s another big deal to us, the contract was sent thru EMAIL. After more than 6 mons. we tried to look for that contract on our emails to see if its really stipulated but we couldn’t find it. WE WEREN’T GIVEN ANY HARD COPY OF THE CONTRACT. From here, we’ve all learnt a lesson to always read a contract although tediously long, before signing it and ask for a hard copy as well. We still pushed the dispute until we were given an additional 2k allowance. Now..im wondering, because i think the 2k additional to us should go through BASIC PAY not allowance. Why? Our thirteenth month and leave conversations still depends on our basic salary in which were receiving less than what a CSR should be receiving during 13th month and vl conversion. WE ALL WORK THE SAME. I strongly believed there’s an inconsistency in the way they offer salaries. I was a newbie but i was able to learn that they had offered higher to a new batch which also ncludes newbies after us, who were also first profiled as non-voice agents. We were CSR’s by definition but we were receiving less than what they advertise in which the minimum salary is 15,000. And what about more than 6 months working as a voice agent before they decided to add us an allowance? Are we still entitled for that more than 6 months we worked without having the right amount of compensation? I think this company is taking advantage of us having less knowledge about the law. Im planning on resigning but i want to make sure this won’t happen to others coz we were mostly feeling like were scammed except those who were given the right compensation of course, but MOSTLY, we were from younger generation and bpo newbies as well. We have a choice to resign if we do not want that right? But again we were young back then, mostly fresh grads and no bpo experiences and they took advantage of it because we we’re all in dire need and maybe due to societal pressure as well.. please help us.
Again most of the people working in the voice account was initially profiled as non-voice. That’s why most of us were being undercompensated but we cannot fight back b/c we do not have any contract in hand. We were mostly afraid b/c its a big bpo company and it hust recently bought another bpo company or the shares i think. HELP
Magandang Araw po attorneys. Magpapatulong lang po tungkol sa case ng kapatid ko na illegitimate child, ung papa po nya kamamatay lang at hindi naiayos yung mga papel po tungkol sa mana. Ngayon, ayaw po tanggapin nung asawa nya at may ampon po sila na finalcify po yung birth certificate. Wala pong adaption paper. Ang sabi po aamin non tutulungan yung kapatid ko sa pag aaral pero wala pong ginawa kahit piso po wala pong tinulong. Nag ayos na po kami sa PAO kaso ang bagal po ng proseso at yung mga properties po isa isa na po nilang binibenta lahat para hindi makaparte yung kapatid ko. Thank you po ng marami. God Bless 🙂

Good eve Atty. Last night po kasi desperas nagka problema po s kapit bahay naming maaga pa po around 3 pm nagpaparinig na po sya ng kung anoano. Then itinuturo nya kami. Sa way nya mag salita nakakainsulto na po. But then hinayaan ko na sya. Pero tuloy tuloy pa din po yung dakdak nya about sakin tsaka sa kapitbahay naming then before 12 am of dec.24 we started to celebrate kasi po desperas na , dun na po sya nag start mag wala then sinagot ko na po sya tapos sasabihan nya ko na mawawala kami sa compound namin hahanapin nalang daw po kami ng magulang namin kung saan. Parang dun palang po may banta na sya e. Then sinugod po ko ng anak nya . yes po nagkasakitan pero tama po ba na sabihin nya na hayaan mo na yan babarilin ko yan . security guard po kasi itong babae. Then after ng gulo sige po kakapicture nya saki. Nagvivideo pa po sya . then binaliktad nya po yung sinasabi nya sa video na ako na daw po yung nagbabanta sa kanya. Marami naman pong nakarinig at nakakita sa nangyari. In case po mag reklamo ako or magreklamo sila may laban po ba ko ?
